Kevin + Anna | Maternity Session at Glenwood Gardens

I was thrilled to have gotten to capture Kevin and Anna for their maternity session at Glenwood Gardens. Glenwood Gardens is located in Cincinnati and it made for the perfect background for this beautiful session. At the time of this session in October, Kevin and Anna were expecting their first child. Anna was due on October 28 and they’d decided to wait to find out the gender. (Sarah, maybe include what they had)

We explored many areas of the park, which is 335-acres of gardens, prairies, forests and wetlands, as well as a paved trail and nature path. The park provided scenes of wild flowers and nature that served as gorgeous scenery with the perfect golden hour sunset behind them.

I really enjoyed getting together with Kevin and Anna. Since my husband and I just recently had our bundle of joy, it was enjoyable to share our story with them. Anna is planning on working from home to raise their child, so she and I were able to relate with that since I work from home as well.

This was my first maternity session and I absolutely loved it. That’s just one of the things I love about being a photographer. I love capturing weddings and engagements, and now that I’ve gone through pregnancy, I appreciate the miracle of carrying a child.

Congratulations Anna and Kevin on welcoming your precious baby into this world!
