Build Your Wedding Day Details Box

You likely hear me talking about details, details, and more details… and while I absolutely love photographing these beauties, I want to share why.

Your wedding day tells a story. A beautiful story of a couple who are going to say their “I do’s”, the moments leading up to the ceremony, the laughs, the happy tears, the first looks, the friends and family celebrating along side, and soooo much more. When you look back on your wedding day and flip through the pages of your wedding album, you’ll cherish the photos, reminisce on the laughs, those happy tears, and just imagine… the photos of the ring your grandmother passed down. These photos withhold all of the memories of your big day, so why not help tell the story and share all of the beautiful things your day has to offer. This is why I ask all of my couples to provide a Details Box, pertaining all of the goodies so I can help to tell the story of your wedding day.

You may be asking… what do I need in a details box? And girl, I got you! Some of the items you’ll want in your box include:

  • The rings (his
  • The garter
  • Any jewelry (earnings, bracelets, additional rings)
  • Hair clips and pins
  • Invitation Suite
  • Perfume/Cologne
  • Brides and Groom’s Shoes
  • Tie or bow
  • The Boutonniere’s
  • The Bouquet – I’ll love you forever if you can get loose extra florals from your florist
  • Watch
  • Tie Clip
  • Any other memorable pieces you’d like included

Quick tip: In the getting ready room, it is very helpful to have your dress and veil next to the details box, that way as soon as we show up for your big day we can get to work and not have to bug you for it 😉

Here are some examples of what we can capture with your details box…
