Alex and Nicole are finally married!! They had a classic and fun spring wedding in Ohio. In true Ohio fashion, the morning of their wedding, there was a 100% chance of rain, as well as it being a little chilly. Thankfully, as soon as the girls arrived at the church to finish getting ready, the weather took a turn for the better! It ended up being a warm and beautiful spring day!! We were so grateful for the weather cooperating!
Nicole and Alex grew up across the street from each other and were friends throughout their childhood. When Nicole was a senior in high school and Alex was a freshman in college, they decided to start dating! Who would have known that these two neighbors would one day become Mr and Mrs?! They are such a sweet, down-to-earth, and fun couple.
Nicole looked absolutely stunning! She wore a classic-styled wedding dress from Brides and Beyond with a long cathedral veil and a kitten heel. I’m a sucker for when my brides wear veils! I’m always sure to get those dreamy portraits with your flowing veil. It was a precious moment when Nicole dressed for her big day, as her mom and bridesmaids helped her with each piece she put on. (Sarah please confirm if this is correct) We captured photos at the church of each of them and their wedding party. The bridesmaids wore a soft blue shade dress, and the groomsmen wore navy suits.
As Nicole walked down the aisle at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Alex’s reaction was picture perfect. He was beaming with delight as he saw his lovely bride escorted by her dad. After the ceremony, we moved to Alex’s parent’s backyard to take the wedding photos! Their backyard was the perfect backdrop for the newlyweds and is also where we took their engagement photos! Their reception was enjoyed by their family and friends with lots of laughter and fun!
